This week's competitors shall be:
Crow va Swan
Crow is a recurring veteran of the Carnival Corpse circuit. He's one of the toughest opponents on deck. Let's all take a moment of pity for the poor Swan, who is a new comer to Carnival Corpse. Let's hope she's skilled enough to face her fierce opponent.
Competitors have until FRIDAY of this week to post their entries to this thread. Failure to do so results in a loss, removal of candy, and potentially a CP penalty.

Swan approached the gate. This week she was fighting the Crow, Senji Kiyomasa. It's about damn time she got to fight someone who would actually put up a fight instead of taking pity on her because she's a girl. Most guys would gock at her for a while and that's what pissed her off the most. She grinned wide, licking her lips as she held onto the gate bars. This was going to be fun. Even if she did get beaten, she would do it having fun.

(Swan, please go back and read the Carnival Corpse info page. this is not a roleplay. You are supposed to submit a full story detailing your fight and victory over crow.)

Crow was already and waiting at the center of the ring where he usually was. Marching around with a slight smirk on his face, getting the crowd worked up by the general knowledge that he was there at all. Most everyone there knew him and knew what he was all about. They know he was facing of a against a new person as well. He was determined to not make the same mistake twice. Especially against a woman. It was sexist yes but that was Crow. Not very many women should be very able to take him on in a fight.
He eventually spotted the blonde ponytail before anything else, followed by the new face of Marisa. She looked too confident for her own good. He would correct that right away. He moved to meet her in the center, ignoring all outside distractions as he readied himself. “I'd wipe that look off of my face if I were you. This is my ring.”
She smirked back at him, her hip coking out to one side much like what she did when they first met. “Don't worry about me, I can handle myself.”
He snorted at the response, she still didn't get it did she? When the word to begin was heard he wasted no time. Using the rings on his thumbs, he sliced his fingers open and allowed the large blades to emerge from his wrists around past his back. He watched as she clipped the skin on herself with her teeth, releasing a branch of sin much like his own. In the bedroom he hadn't noticed it before really, but now he could look at it. It almost infuriated him. A branch like his own!? Two curved blades from her arms? What the hell was this!?
“Really? Whatever, just because you have it doesn't mean you can use it!”
Sprinting on the spot, he pulled his arms inward and began to released a coordinated flurry of attacks at the girl. He watched her closely as she managed to block most of them, however keeping her on the defensive was working fine. Finally getting annoyed with all of the blocking, he jumped backwards and planted his feet. He watched her eyes dancing curiously, as too why he had put distance between them. Little did she know. If there was one thing special about his branch he was certain nobody else would have, it was that they weren't limited to close combat.
The blades began to web together in a long flat rope like whip. Snapping it upward the bladed webbing raced forward at her. Bingo. The shock in her eyes told it all, he had her this time. He wouldn't waste very much time playing around though. He had an image to hold and this was his business end. He watched as she tried again to block, even take a swipe at it with her left arm. Tch. The webbing snapped up against the blades, lifting the woman’s body high into the air.
People seldom realized that the power behind the momentum gained from those attacks. It was like trying to stop a truck from running you over by catching it. For an untrained newbie, they had no hopes. Most people that knew him knew to either get out of the damned way or use the webbing to leap from and trying to use it as a makeshift track field to run to him. Either way it didn't matter, he had tricks for that too.
While still airborne he flicked the webbing up again, slapping her body even higher into the air. He wanted to make sure he still had time to get to her before she could hit the ground. She her body began coming down, he retracted the webbing, the bits splitting and separating until they were once again like a pair of swords on his arms. Racing forward to where she would be landing as fast as he could, he paused, jumped into the air, and pulled his arms in tightly. Once he was meeting her legs he released the attack, slicing deeply into the woman’s chest and shoulders. However he wouldn't stop there either. He had to teach her who to fear in this carnival corpse, he had to show her he wasn't a man to be toyed around with, that everyone who came in here was very well out of their league. This is what he did. This is what he loved!
Tucking his legs against his own chest tightly, he shot them both out into a painful kick to Marisa' chest, right on top of the wounds, sending her body back down to the ground at a painfully fast rate. He heard the thud coming fro the ground as he landed a few inches away from her. He watched her try to push herself to her feet, wincing as she did. He couldn't blame her, his attacks were meant to be painful. Reaching down he grabbed the collar of her shirt and reached back with his right hand, imitating a forceful backhand, only this was just allowing the blades to press against her chest, above her breasts. “It's over!”
Slamming the blade down hard and pulling swiftly, he made a second slice, right below the first, her body falling to the floor. That was that. Yes it may have been a one sided fight, yes he may have gone over board on her, he didn't care. That had to happen for many many reasons. He glanced down to meet her eyes, which glared fiercely at him. Well he didn't expect her to celebrate for him. Smirking slightly, and winking his good eye, he shrugged his shoulders.
“Now maybe you better know how we work here....take this to heart and keep it in mind, most people are going to try to kill you next time....now if you'll excuse me,” he had a crowd to stir. He could hear the cheering, and the familiar announcer calling the obvious as usual. Smiling widely, as he let the branch disappear, he began walking around, waving his arms highly in the air at the people. What he considered his fans. He was a bit of a glory hound during this particular time but hey it was a proud moment! Once again, he held the title of carnival corpse champion. Hopefully poor Marisa wasn't taking it all too personally, some of it was but most of it was proving points that she just didn't know about. Oh well, whatever happened now was just going to have to happen. He couldn't help but wonder though...what body part was she going to loose? Hmm, that might be interesting, he might have to run to the lounge sometime and catch that one.
((I hope this is okay you guys, I really did my best here but it's strange taking over someone else's OC =/))

Well!!! Due to the lack of participation on part of CERTAIN individuals, Namely SWAN! It looks like by default, Crow is the victor without even having to be judged! Congratulations Crow on your Flawless Victory!

That sucks, hope it doesn't happen again. At least not too soon. But that was a good read from keyade regardless.
