Nero pressed the weights up and locked them there with the safety bar. He stood up and looked down to Kin, "An average person should be able to lift 1.8 to 2.2 times their body weight for one repetition maximum." Nero moved his eye over to the machine then back to Kin, "However, I'm assuming you've never done such a thing before. To be safe I'll start you out with 75 pounds. For now it's just a starting range to see how much you can lift." Nero adjusted the weight on the machine for Kin and stepped aside to allow her to take a seat.

Kin chuckled a bit and nodded her head. "Right...let's see if I can do this...." If most people could do around twice their weight, surely about half of his shouldn't be too hard. She got down onto the machine and pressed his feet against the flat, trying her best to mimic what Nero was doing. "Like this right?"

Nero nodded. "Just tell me if you have any problems and I will assist you." Nero released the safety bar and allowed for Kin to take it from there. With 75 pounds she could at least do 8 to 10 reps.

He nodded and managed to lower the platform down, his legs almost hitting his chest. Once they were down, he shook a bit pushing it back up. "Wow.....heheh...I feel like I'm actually doing something useful...." She continued a few more times, getting a tough weary after the sixth. "...H-how long do I do this for again?

Nero watched Kin with arms crossed and mentally counting her reps. "You should be able to do at least eight to ten reps with the 75 pounds."

Kin nodded a bit and managed to grunt through three more, finally stopping at nine. That was good, one more than the minimum. He pooped the safety back in place and sighed. "Whew, that made me feel a bit of the burn...how long of working out like this will it take to get....prepared?" and would Kin ever....spar with someone? To get a bit of combat experience?

Nine was acceptable; Kin was just starting out and Nero didn't expect her to be wonder woman her first try. "The whole point of this process is to build muscle and strengthen endurance levels. If you want physical experience and fighting styles then I would have to see where you stand as of right now." Nero didn't know what type of BoS Kin had or how powerful it was, let alone if she could use it. A Branch of Sin may be made from your own blood, but that doesn't automatically give you the knowledge on how to use it. In a fight, however, Nero did not see a BoS as the only weapon; other than knowledge, hand to hand combat could also be useful. Fighting styles were just a mix of one's own talents.

Kin giggled a little as he stood up. "Where I stand on fighting? I don't stand at all. I've never hit anyone in my life...." Aside from slapping a mouthy bitch in the face, but they shouldn't have run their mouth like they had! "But I kinda need to learn that too....I mean, I'm not even sure what my branch of sin really is....I mean, I only used it once..and...i don't remember what I did..." He had been so panicked that she just blanked out the whole event. "I woke up and they were covered in like, a mist of blood...and so was I....I think the reports said they died from....hypothermia, so maybe something with freezing?"

Nero rubbed his jaw in thought. He had never heard of blood being able to freeze a person, of course before all of this he never would have believed anything about freely moving one's own blood and using it to fight with. The only way they both would learn of Kin's Branch of Sin was to see it in action. "Can you summon it?"

Kin thought for a moment. He hadn't used it since....but he could give it a shot, to remember the feeling from before. "...I....I think I can." She focused on the palm of her hand a moment, trying to feel the energy he felt before. He could feel something swelling in her body as he managed to finally draw a result. A tiny geyser of fine red mist began seeping from her palm. To the touch, the mist was alarmingly frigid.

Nero stepped closer and studied the mist carefully. He rose his hand up and moved it through the mist. Shockingly his hand had dropped several degrees and was suddenly cold. He clenched and unclenched his hand in order to get the blood circulating again. "Intriguing..."

Kin nodded. "I guess I freeze stuff then....what about you? what can you do?" He was curious to know a bit more about his abilities and how he fought. What if she had to face off against him? She knew that he didn't stand much of a chance against a veteran...hopefully...someone new would be his first opponent.

Nero brought his right hand over to his left one. With one small incision into the top of his left hand with his finger blade, the blood at first slowly leaked out, then flowed straight up towards his knuckles and formed into medium size claws that had a slight curve at the end. Nero tightened his hand into a fist and demonstrated how the claws can grow longer, as well as retract back to normal size. Normally in a fight he would cut both hands and form his weapons, but this was only to satisfy Kin's curiosity.

Kin's eyes widened a bit when he saw the branch. "...Wow...that looks frightening...." It seemed like a much better power than making things cold....Good god, kin's branch was....apparently deadly, but it cost her blood and seemed to just be good for chilling drinks before dinner or something.

Nero's blood had changed back into freely moving streams as he looked to Kin. Before when Nero had moved his hand through her mist it slowed circulation and turned his hand cold; but what would it to when directly in contact with an opponent's blood? "I'd like to test something." Without hesitation, or Kin's consent, Nero grabbed her hand that leaked the mist. He let his left hand form into his claws again as he moved them into the mist. The icy chill radiated through his claws down to his hand. Nero noticed how his claws looked like they had a very light powdering of white on them, almost like snow. "Hmm..." He released Kin's hand and brought his claws to his eye, studying it closely. Suddenly a brilliant idea hit him. Without warning Nero turned and smashed his claws against the leg lift machine, watching as shards of his frozen Branch of Sin fell to the floor. "Interesting," Nero moved his gaze over to Kin as he spoke out, "Blood freezes at minus 0.6 Celsius. Given the right amount of exposure to your mist, an opponent's Branch of Sin's blood can freeze." He looked down to the now melting shards of his BoS.
