The music genera is a bit hard for me since I can't keep track of what I like. I like certain songs like Nephetamine by Cradel of Filth. I think that might be metal maybe? All I know is that female singer has a beautiful voice. I studied Opera in my own singing career so I admire operetic rock.

Oh my god that can be some of the best music if done right! I love to sing myself, my voice is very untrained but I have sung by ear for about 8 years now and I am even getting brave and trying to pick out the harmony in songs. I can do most evanescence and even some godsmack, a greenday song, and...errrrr....feels like there were others but I can think XD

Ah video game sound tracks are great! Hahaha, say malefcimistress you need to post videos of you singing on youtube! You don't do anything else with it without a camera for the walkthroughs

Thanks man but I really don't think so. All I have is a webcam with medium quality, I can't find my good one, and my mic is a little funky, and I'm not good with audacity to help fix the music and my voice so I don't get drowned out, or down out the lead singer. =/ I have attempted it but it sounds bad and I don't think it would earn that much...positive feedback XD Like I said my voice is untrained and I don't sing as consistently as I used to since my spaces are always invaded and I can't find time when my family isn't home to really let loose. I sound bad when I hold back and I can't let go in front of people so....it's just a mess

So what? Get one of your youtuber buds to help you with audacity, practice up and post it! I bet you'll get plenty of good comments as well as bad ones, maybe you'll get lucky and you can find a critique for you. You shouldn't worry about singing in front of people XD

....well, posting anything of yourself singing on youtube is just giving bait to the sharks XD I would suggest against it lest you be compared to justin beiber and trying to be a celebrity wannabe. Youtube commenters are the scourge of the internet.

Lol well I have been in vocal opera training for six or seven years now so everything I sing sounds like a Disney song. So I take great pleasure in Disney-fying songs that are hard core emo. I have also taken to doing Disney-esque renditions of annoying songs like Friday.

Not if you know right where to go and who to show it to XD Trolls are going to happen that's just inevitable but if you have talent you'll find plenty of people online to help you out. I know a few girls who got noticed and did very well on youtube ^-^

Oh robin some of the best songs I know are from disney!! That is so amazing that you do that! I love covers of some of those songs especially when people put their own style into it and make it their own and as original as possible! It's very inspiring and very beautiful to me ^-^

Karaoke is the best! Hahaha getting up there and shaking your white ass to Ciara or something X3 Nothing more fun than goofing off to a mic some nights. My buds and I do it as often as we can but sometimes we get a competitive nerve and we'll actually sing something XD Within Temptation, Nightwish, Evanescence, Metallica, Godsmack, any metal band or opera or whatever we can get our hands on we'll sing until we need pain meds then sing some more!
